Staedtler MEDICAL PENCIL H& E Pencil Suitable For Hematoxylin And Eosin 6 Pink & 6 purple
H for Hematoxylin (Violet coloured) and E for Eosin (Pink or Lilac coloured) pencils. These H and E pencils are used in drawing histology and histopathology diagrams,to represent the H and E stain. Hematoxylin pencil is used to draw the nuclei ( as nuclei is acidic it takes up a basic dye like Hematoxylin). The Eosin pencil is used for the cell, cytoplasm, etc.
